Meet Brent Harris, DMD
Dr. (Stephen) Brent Harris was born in VA Beach, VA. As the younger of two sons to a NCIS Special agent, he spent the better part of his childhood living abroad in Southeast Asia and the Caribbean followed by time on both coasts of the United States. After attending high schools in California, Maryland, and finally in Florida, Brent graduated from Satellite Beach High School on Florida’s Space Coast. As the perpetual new kid on the block, he became quick to introduce himself, and to this day his dental team can attest to his excitement in conversation and storytelling.
Dr. Harris completed his Undergraduate training in three years at Florida Institute of Technology, and in 1997 he entered as the youngest student in the Charter Dental School Class at Nova Southeastern College of Dental Medicine. During his second year at NSU Dental, he took a commission as an officer in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, and following graduation, completed a general practice residency at Naval Hospital San Diego. As a Navy Officer, Lieutenant Harris served on the island of Guam and traveled with the Navy throughout Asia and Micronesia. Being a third generation military man, Brent takes great pride in his service, and is the proud father of two children, both of which were born on the island of Guam.
In 2005, Dr. Harris joined S.A.H. Dentistry, where he has built a strong practice with a focus on comprehensive restorative dentistry and dental implant surgery. He has served as a Key Opinion leader for major dental technology companies, has published numerous articles, and has lectured extensively throughout the Country on CAD CAM Dentistry and the digital workflow. Dr. Harris continues to strive to utilize the most advanced dental technologies to deliver the highest quality of work, and to give his patients the most optimal overall experience.
Dr. Harris served two terms as the president of the Port Saint Lucie Sunset Rotary Club. He believes in the constant pursuit of new skills and is excited to discover unique places, meet interesting people, and create things by hand, be it knives, paintings or jewelry. Nomadic by nature, he’s a family man who travels to chase waves, play in the snow and capture, cook and eat wild game from both land and sea. Dr. Harris approaches life as vigorously and with as much adventure, artistry and kindness possible, which can be seen throughout his work and leadership at S.A.H. Dentistry.
